Temple Street Children’s University Hospital is an acute national paediatric hospital which was founded in 1872. Every year the hospital take care of approximately 150,000 children from across Ireland, including over 45,000 children who attend the hospital’s emergency department, making it one of Europe’s busiest. 90 consultants and over 950 employees, including nursing and paramedical staff as well as social care support, delivering excellent care for the little ones every day. Their aim: help sick children by making their stay as less distressing as possible.
The main specialities at Temple Street Children’s Hospital contain neonatal and paediatric surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, neurology, ENT and plastic surgery as well as nephrology.
Visitors to Temple Street Children’s Hospital can park at Q-Park (also known as Cleary’s Cark Park) for up to 24h at a cost of €6 with the tickets being validated in the hospital. Alternatively, there are more car parks in walking distance to the hospital, including Ilac Centre, Parnell Street or Jervis centre car park. Please note that there is no public car park directly at the hospital. However, even though there is limited on-street parking around the hospital, it’s advised to arrive by public transport.
