Bord Gais Energy Theatre is Dublin’s newest and largest theatre and is located in Grand Canal Square, minutes walk from the city centre. The theatre opened in March 2010 with The Russian State Ballet featuring stars from the Bolshoi performing Swan Lake.
Since then the Bord Gais Energy Theatre continues to host theatrical productions from around the world. Every year, vistiors can enjoy a varied programme which includes musicals, concerts, comedy, ballets and opera.

The most convenient way to reach the Bord Gais Energy Theatre is by using public transport. Grand Canal Dock and Pearse Street Dart stations are a 10-15 minute walk away. Dublin Bus routes 1, 2, 3, 50, 56a, 77 and 77a all operate to both of these Dart stations. The theatre does not have its own car park but parking is available at Grand Canal Square Q-park, The Convention Centre Dublin’s underground car park and at The Marker Hotel.
